5 of us stopped by late at night and had a fabulous meal outside while enjoying beautiful quaint Bernkastel. I need to eat Gluten Free and was surprised when the waitress told me their Rindergoulasch special with potato was gluten free. It was delicious. Tender stewed meat with tons of flavor. Our waitress was very kind. Such a delightful dining experience.

Authentic German! Appears to be a large old church with little rooms. You feel like your eating in small mid evil dining room. Food was outstanding with a fair wait. This is fancy so wear a nice shirt. We got the grilled pork fillet and the fish fillet. Both amazing! Make time for it to be an 'event'

Allgemein Ein sehr schönes Lokal direkt Markt mit umfangreicher Karte mit frichen Produkten. Keine Tütemkost. Die Preide sind dem Touristenzentrum angpasst, aber nicht überteuert. Bedienung Trotz plötzlichem Ansurm, sehr nett, schnell und freundlich. Das Essen Die Kalbslebe war auf den Punkt gebraten. Der Kartoffelbrei war hausgemacht und nicht aus der Tüte. Das Ambiente Das Ambiente ist historisierend aber nicht altbacken. Es wird versucht etwas antike Einrichtung darzutellen. Beim Esen stört es nicht. Sauberkeit An der Sauberkeit gibt es nichts auszustzen.
